Claire Richardson

“Engaging and inspiring my team to do the right thing by our customers is what I work towards every day. If my team is motivated and can see their careers progress, they instill a level of trust in Kronos as a company, resulting in the trust our customers instill in Kronos as a partner to drive their organisations forward.”

Claire Richardson
Vice president of professional services, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
Kronos Incorporated

As vice president of professional services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Claire Richardson works with customers to define and deliver workforce optimisation programmes focused on employee engagement to drive improved business performance. With a people-first approach, she ensures Kronos delivers solutions that meet customer business objectives and works to understand what drives organisations forward.

Richardson takes pride in her EMEA team and leads with the philosophy that if you do right by your people, they will do right by your organisation. Armed with workforce management and engagement expertise, she inspires her team both professionally and personally to help them to understand customer pain-points. For Richardson, it all comes down to people. Whether it’s matching the right person to customer, or the right manager to employee, she understands that small nuances such as language, country of origin, industry experience or legislation knowledge can make a huge difference.

When Richardson joined Kronos in 2014, she led customer engagement and services in the U.K. As a linguist with a deep understanding of international business, she moved to a global services role in 2016, and began to lead professional services in EMEA in 2018.

Before joining Kronos, Richardson focused her career on optimising contact centre and back-office operations, working on engagements in both large banking and financial service as well as telecommunications sales and consulting organisations.

Richardson’s passion for language and politics has driven her educational focus: She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Surrey, as well as a master’s degree in international studies from the University of Warwick.
