Vice president, services

Chris Todd

As vice president of services, Christopher Todd is charged with boosting the breadth and depth of Kronos services offerings. Todd joined Kronos in August 2007 as a well-rounded executive team member with extensive experience in sales, international operations, corporate development, finance, and analytics. With an undergraduate degree from Harvard, Todd began his career at S.G. Warburg & Co. in 1992 as a financial analyst in its investment banking division. In 1997, after graduating from Yale's Law School, Todd joined McKinsey & Co. and focused on business strategy, revenue growth, and valuation. He managed both McKinsey and client teams before moving on to technology start-up NetGen in 1999. Joining a six-person management team as the director of business development and legal affairs, Todd successfully negotiated a number of partnerships prior to the sale of the company and, as internal legal counsel, Todd handled all patent, trademark, and privacy issues for NetGen.

In 2000, Todd joined Blackbaud, a global software and services provider focused on the non-profit market. During his tenure, he became a key member of the executive team that transitioned Blackbaud from an $80+ million private company with $115 million of debt to a publicly traded debt-free company twice the size in less than five years.

After fulfilling a number of different roles, including the vice president of corporate development and the vice president of a highly successful analytics division, Todd was named senior vice president of worldwide sales and operations for Blackbaud in 2005. He managed a 200-person domestic sales team with a $140 million annual quota and continued the company's streak of meeting or exceeding Wall Street estimates for nine more quarters. Todd also assumed responsibility for the company's international operations in the United Kingdom and in Australia.
